My first relationship ended when I was twenty-three, and it cracked everything open. My first dark night of the soul. Breakdowns. Weight gain. The beginning of bulimia. A grief I had no framework for, because what I was grieving wasn't just the relationship. It was the first version of a life I had assumed was mine.
"I didn't go looking for transformation. The ground beneath me disappeared and I had no choice but to find a new one."
Eight years into a corporate accounting career (Ernst & Young, Deloitte, Village Roadshow), my Jupiter return hit. I quit and moved to Melbourne with one intention: to find my soul's purpose. I was still an accountant, but I was reading Dalai Lama teachings on the tram, meditating before work, and slowly learning to listen to my body rather than fight it. Through that listening, the bulimia quietly resolved. Not through a program, but through presence.
"I was an accountant reading the Dalai Lama on the tram. I had no idea I was already becoming someone else."
On a birthday trip to follow my intuition, something told me to stop the car beside a muddy hill in the rain. I climbed the fence and stood barefoot on the earth, and felt a beam of light move through my body from crown to ground. My whole soul relaxed. When I turned back, an owl was sitting at the fence, in the exact spot I had climbed over. That night, after six months without one, my period came. My body had been waiting for that moment too.
"My whole soul relaxed. Something that had been held tightly for years let go."
In 2017 I met Alice, a coach whose five-day transformation program changed everything. I had found the language for what I had been living inside. I went on to study NLP, communication and leadership. A first mushroom journey showed me how tightly I was holding control, and how afraid I was of my own anger.
That same year I was told I needed surgery on my cervix or I risked cancer. I chose to heal my body my own way: through clearing the trauma held in my generational line, shamanic work, and trusting my body over every voice that said it couldn't be done. When I was checked again, everything was clear. That was my personal choice and my journey, not advice for anyone else. But it taught me something I've never forgotten.
"I said no to the system. And my body said yes to itself."
In a corporate meeting room, a director told me I wasn't listening. And something that had been building for years finally said it out loud: "If you keep projecting that onto me, how can I possibly listen?" I knew, with complete clarity, that I was done with leadership without emotional intelligence. A decade of corporate life ended in a split second. Within a month I was back in Perth.
"A decade ended in a split second. My whole body knew before my mind had finished forming the thought."
Back in Perth I worked at Lululemon while I built the business, and became community lead. I was still carrying my body. I'd spent four years trying to lose weight, not knowing my nervous system was in a constant trauma response. I didn't go to the beach for an entire summer, too self-conscious to be seen. Then I realised the only person judging me was me. I started swimming, surfing and hiking for joy, and quietly the weight came off. My body let go the moment it felt safe.
I trained in somatic breathwork and intuitive shamanic healing. I ran more than twenty retreats across Australia and internationally, facilitated at festivals, and held hundreds of women in 1:1 work. And my own initiations kept coming: an abortion at thirty, and a grief that arrived later, enormous and unnamed. A four-and-a-half-year relationship that asked everything of me, and cracked my psychic channel fully open. And a healer I trusted who touched me without my consent and called it healing. It took me a long time to understand what had happened.
Over the years I also witnessed things in spiritual spaces that I could not unsee: women touched without consent, women in trauma responses that facilitators mistook for breakthroughs. Unconscious facilitation dressed up as transformation. That is a big part of why I built this work the way I did.
"I didn't transform once. I transformed repeatedly. Each time, the same question: am I willing to come back to myself?"
In 2025 I ran the first cohort of She Who Leads Herself™. Eight women. Every one of them arrived knowing the pattern, and left having felt it shift in their body. I didn't design it, I channelled it: three days of writing in complete flow, the concept arriving fully formed. It wasn't constructed. It was received.
Everything I've built is an expression of what I couldn't find when I needed it most. A space where the body is included from the beginning. Where regulation comes before expansion. Where a woman is met precisely where she is. I built the Psychic–Somatic Spiral™ because I needed it. The psychic part isn't separate: it's what becomes available once the nervous system is regulated and the static clears. Not a gift granted to the few. A capacity restored to the many.
I offer this work to women who are tired of trying to think their way out of something that lives somewhere the mind cannot reach.
If that is you, you are in the right place.
